The blue instructor remote can perform a variety of tasks to integrate the iClicker system with your class. These tasks are written on the remote and described below.
Press A to start and stop polling. Pressing A once will start a poll and a new pop-up screen will appear displaying the length of your polling session and number of responses. To change the appearance of this screen follow the instructions on the Customize the Polling Toolbar page.Pressing A a second time will stop the polling and return the usual pop-up screen. Pressing A again will begin a new poll.
Press B to show or hide a graphic representation of how students responded. To change how these results are displayed follow the steps described on the Change the Settings for a Class page.
Press C to make a presentation go forward a slide.
Press D to make a presentation go back a slide.
Press E to select an answer. After the results are shown in a graph by pressing B, press E once to highlight and select A as the correct answer. Press twice to select B and so on. Correct answers will appear in green, as seen below. This step is useful if you are recording and grading the number of correct answers per sessions. The answer that you have selected as correct when you close the graph will be recorded in the iClicker system. You can also select the correct answer after the session has ended by editing the session. To do so follow step 4 in the How to View and Edit a Session page. To assign the point value given to questions, follow the instructions on the Change the Settings for a Class page.
Note: Sometimes iClicker does not respond immediately, you may have to wait a few seconds longer than you would normally for a digital system to respond.
