Graduate-Student Teaching Orientation
Graduate-Student Teaching Orientation is an interactive event that is designed to help prepare graduate students for their first teaching responsibilities at the University.
Through interactive discussion and teaching workshops, this program:
- Provides an opportunity to learn effective teaching strategies, including strategies for creating and maintaining a safe, fair, inclusive learning environment.
- Presents information about campus resources, including Teaching Center workshops and professional-development programs for graduate students.
- Provides an opportunity for new assistants to course instructors to meet with experienced graduate students in their disciplines
