Junior-Faculty Workshop
Have you ever wondered how you might monitor student learning during class time? Classroom assessment techniques (CATs) are essential classroom strategies for assessing student learning—providing “real-time” information that can help you adjust your instruction. Workshop participants will explore and discuss different CATs that can be readily integrated with methods such as lecture, discussion, and group work.
Presenter: Jacinta Mutambuki, PhD, STEM Education Research Associate, The Teaching Center
Registration is required and limited to 15. A box-lunch will be provided. All participants will receive an email with menu selections, including vegetarian options, closer to the workshop date. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know at that time.
Questions may be directed to Beth Fisher.
