This Professional Development workshop will explore different ways to reflect on, document, and communicate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in your job market materials. Discussion will include strategies for addressing inclusion in teaching philosophy statements as well as writing a diversity statement, a document that is becoming increasingly requested in academic job announcements.

Participating in advanced-level workshops for graduate students does not satisfy departmental requirements to attend introductory-level Teaching Center workshops. The departmental requirements are satisfied by participation in Foundations in Teaching Workshops.
