In this workshop for faculty, participants will discuss and apply the elements of effective writing assignments and prompts, including transparency, specificity, and clarity. This workshop is designed for instructors who are teaching writing-intensive courses across the disciplines, and any instructor whose courses include writing.
Topics will include:
Creating transparent assignments
Asking clear questions to get clear writing
Discussion and peer review of writing assignments
