Research has shown that students acquire and retain knowledge most effectively by engaging in collaborative-learning groups with peers. In this junior faculty workshop, participants will explore fostering collaborative learning with in-class, structured group work. Participants will learn how to structure and facilitate in-class group activities that can help students become more involved in their own learning.
