This workshop will introduce participants to cognitive-science research on learning and memory that is relevant to teaching at the university level. Participants will learn how to design and implement classroom activities that incorporate retrieval practice, which may improve learning and help students monitor their own learning.
This is a foundational workshop for the WU-CIRTL program.
Presenter: Denise Leonard, Ph.D., Assistant Director
