Participants in this workshop will discuss the factors that affect student engagement and participation during group work, as well as learn strategies for designing and facilitating group work that can foster inclusion and full participation.
This workshop is part of a two-session series offered this semester on Collaborative Learning in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Attendance at both sessions is not required.

This workshop is part of the Pedagogies in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Workshop Series.Participation in this workshop series partially satisfies the advanced-level training requirement for the Teaching Citation program and the Preparation in Pedagogy (PiP) program.
Participating in advanced-level workshops for graduate students does not satisfy departmental requirements to attend Teaching Center workshops. The departmental requirements are satisfied by attendance at a specified number of introductory-level TA-Training workshops.
