2020 POD Network GPPD Career Development Grants

Are you a graduate student, professional student, or postdoc who is interested in a career in educational development or as teaching faculty? Do you work with graduate and professional students and postdocs who may be interested in these careers?

The Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network’s Special Interest Group in Graduate student, Professional student, and Postdoctoral fellow Development (GPPD) will award up to 30 Career Development Grants to graduate students, professional students, and postdocs to support their attendance at POD’s annual conference, to be held virtually this year from November 10 to 13, 2020. The Career Development Grant is needs-based and covers both conference registration and a year-long POD Network membership (approximately $350 value).

We welcome applications from all graduate students, professional students, and postdocs, regardless of nationality or citizenship. We especially invite applications from individuals who come from backgrounds or have identities that are underrepresented in POD, as well as whose institutions have not historically been represented in POD (e.g., historically Black colleges and universities, tribal colleges and universities).

Applications are due on October 5, 2020. To complete the online application, which includes submitting a CV, please visit https://tinyurl.com/2020CDG.

Please share this announcement widely and encourage your peers — or the graduate and professional students and postdocs you support — to apply!
