Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) is a proven method of small-group peer learning used at colleges and universities all over the world. PLTL groups typically consist of 6-8 students who work together to solve problems, and are facilitated by a Peer Leader. The PLTL program at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) was introduced in General Chemistry in 2001. The model has expanded to Calculus and is being translated for Engineering courses.
