Using the Blackboard Learning Management System: Training for Graduate-Student TAs

In this Blackboard training session for graduate-student TAs, presented by The Teaching Center and the Liberman Fellows, participants will receive an introduction the Blackboard learning-management system and learn the basics of presenting course materials, administering and grading assignments, and using the Grade Center. 

This day-long session will cover the following topics:

  • Determining how Blackboard can fit your course goals
  • Creating and navigating course pages
  • Creating or uploading a syllabus
  • Adding course materials
  • Posting, collecting, and grading assignments
  • Recording and tabulating grades

The workshop includes a one-hour break for lunch, between noon and 1:00.
