In this workshop, we will discuss how "authority issues" can shape teaching by graduate students. Participants will learn how to use their authority to create and maintain a classroom environment that promotes student learning, as well as how to respond to students whose behavior somehow disrupts that environment.
Presenters: Beth Fisher, Ph.D., Associate Director of the Teaching Center and Pat Brown, Ph.D., Assistant Director of The Teaching Center
Seating in the workshop is limited, and registration is required. Registration for this workshop opens on Mon., Oct. 26. Early registrations will NOT be accepted.
