In this workshop for faculty, participants will discuss strategies for providing feedback that can i) motivate students to revise and ii) identify specific areas for revision. We will also discuss various approaches to designing rubrics in order to increase fairness and transparency in grading.
Topics will include:
Establishing clear grading criteria that reflect the course objectives
Providing helpful feedback to students
Discussion and peer review of grading criteria
