Laboratory classes provide students with first-hand experience with course concepts and with the opportunity to explore methods used by scientists in their discipline, presenting challenges and opportunities that differ from those in a standard classroom environment. This workshop is designed to help TAs plan for and successfully teach in the laboratory setting.
Presenter: Denise Leonard, Ph.D., Assistant Director, The Teaching Center
This workshop is offered two times during October (both listed as separate events on this calendar). Each TA should register for one session: Oct. 3 or Oct. 4. Priority registration will open on Sept. 19, and regular registration will open on Sept. 26
Registration is required, and seating is limited.
Participation in this workshop series satisfies departmental TA-Training requirements and the introductory-level training requirement for the Teaching Citation program. These workshops are for Washington University graduate students.
