Personal Appointments
Faculty members may contact The Teaching Center to discuss and develop their teaching--whether by refining current approaches, incorporating new strategies and methods, or developing evaluative studies to assess the effectiveness of specific methods.

Consultations on teaching may address topics such as the following:
• Integrating different teaching methods
• Incorporating writing
• Grading and grading policies
• Increasing student participation or improving class discussion
• Incorporating group work
• Using instructional technology effectively

    Observation and Feedback on Teaching
The Teaching Center can arrange to visit or videotape a class when requested by the faculty member. We will review the session, then replay and discuss with the faculty member during a pre-arranged appointment. After the consultation, videotapes become the property of the faculty member.
All consulting sessions are confidential.
