LinkedIn Learning Collection from The Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning has compiled a collection of video courses related to online learning in LinkedIn Learning that are free and available to all WashU faculty and staff.

“The sheer volume of courses on LinkedIn Learning (over 14,000) can be overwhelming, so we gathered a concise set of courses in this collection that can help meet faculty needs as they prepare their own courses for the fall and beyond,” said Eric Fournier, director of educational development at the center. “While this is certainly not meant to replace the programming we do at the CTL, we feel it can complement our existing programs and offer faculty more options as they think about their courses and how to best facilitate student learning in these uncertain times.”

The collection, which can be accessed here, includes video-based courses that take between one to two hours to complete. Some courses include additional optional exercises and readings. The videos are broken into chunks of just a few minutes, modeling best practices for remote and self-paced teaching and learning.

Topics include instructional design, teaching with technology, blended learning, and tips and tricks for using Canvas.

All WashU faculty and staff members have access to LinkedIn Learning.
