As part of WUSTL’s ongoing commitment to furthering campus efforts around diversity and inclusion, the university will again host the annual Day of Discovery & Dialogue. The 2018 event will be centered on the concept of resiliency. The event kicks off with a keynote address, “The Untold Story of Adversity and Resilience,” from Dr. Meg Jay on Tuesday evening.
Wednesday’s sessions include a number of plenary speakers from the campus and larger St. Louis community that will cover topics ranging from the Humans of St. Louis project to following up on the Ferguson Commission. The event also includes engagement sessions, where faculty and staff will share their ideas and invite discussion about diversity and inclusion on WashU’s campus. A poster session will take place over lunch. This event is for faculty, staff, students, and community members.
