Trans 101: Upcoming Training for Faculty, TAs, Postdocs, and Staff
OUTgrads, a group for Washington University LGBTQ+ graduate and professional students, is hosting a training session led by the Metro Trans Umbrella Group of St. Louis (MTUG).
The presentation is designed to answer basic questions about Trans people and experiences, to clarify terminology, and to define best practices for Trans cultural competency. Time will be provided for personal narratives from the facilitators and Q & A from participants.
This event is open to all and is especially relevant for TAs, postdocs, faculty, and others interested in creating safe and inclusive classrooms.
